Jackie's next performance is on October 11 at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester, Massachusetts.
This will give the Evancho's 3 months to complete the image and brand transformation from an adorable child to a young woman.
As was blatantly evident in her July 4th rehearsal and performance videos, the precocious child wearing dresses obviously designed to enhance the image and hair-styles that had her constantly brushing the hair from her face, and a nervous tick that had her pulling on her dress, the bows or the pleats, have been replaced by a svelte young woman wearing form-fitting dresses and a new hair-style that compliments her face.
October 19 will show us what we have to look forward to for the next couple of years, when another image and brand transformation will occur.

I would add that changes will be continual over the next several years as she attains full womanhood.  These changes will not be planned events or staged as steps in a timeline; they will be continual until a more stable plateau is reached.  To attempt to slow down these changes into steps or stages would meet the same success as King Cnut's (Canute) attempt to stop the flow of the ocean tide.

For me these forthcoming changes are as thrilling as waiting for the anticipated new material that may make a noticeable shift in her career path.  There was never a promise that her career path would be as straight as an arrow flies, but it will still be an interesting path with all the twists and curves that are possibilities.

We have bought the bus ticket for this ride and I hope to see as much as possible before disembarking.
